Chhattisgarh will become 6th state to implement citizen’s charter

Chhattisgarh may soon become the 6th state in the country to implement the citizens’ charter. Chief Minister Dr. Raman Singh has directed the officials of the state in a meeting in Raipur on Thursday to prepare a draft bill so that all those governmental services which are meant for the common people on a regular basis, come under its purview.Sources revealed that final touches to the draft bill in the name of Public Service Guarantee bill is being given final touches so that it may soon be enacted into a law. The state government believes that the law will greatly reduce corruption besides the difficulties being faced by the common man while availing certain services.
