Modernizing the police force, including equipping them with modern weaponry and infrastructure, is paramount to combat Maoist threats, he added.<br />''<br />''Additionally, the government is steadfast in eradicating the Maoist menace, prioritizing essential amenities, education, and healthcare in affected areas. Economic acceleration through resource utilization and fostering an investor-friendly climate with legal safeguards and welfare-focused compensation schemes are key government objectives. The budget session, which is scheduled to conclude on March one, will have 20 sittings. The annual budget for fiscal 2024-25 will be presented on February 9.<br />
