<span style="color: #222222;">Chhattisgarh has recorded a rapid increase in the number of COVID-19 cases. Within a week, the number of corona infected patients in the state has increased 10 fold. At the same time, the average test positivity rate has also increased by about five times. </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">COVID vaccination is going on in full swing in the state. In Chhattisgarh, the number of covid vaccinated persons has crossed 1.25 crore mark. So far, more than 1 crore 25 lakh 49 thousand persons in the state have been inoculated both the doses of corona vaccine. This is 64 per cent of the population above 18 years of age in the state.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Meanwhile, vaccination of children in the age group of 15 to 18 years is also going on in the state. A target has been set to vaccinate more than 16 lakh 39 thousand children of this age group. Of these, more than 6 lakh 18 thousand children have already been inoculated the dose of corona vaccine so far. Thus far, about 40 per cent of children in this age group have been vaccinated.</span>
