Kusumlata Chelak of Khairjhiti village, Sushila Sahu of Saradih village, and Usha Bai of Beltukri of Mahasamund district are among the hundreds of beneficiaries who have got gas connections under the Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana. These women said that now not only they are free from smoke-filled kitchens, but it also takes less time and effort to prepare food. Similarly, Jharna Sahu of village Saradih got free treatment worth about Rs 1 lakh 50 thousand by taking advantage of Ayushman's card. She said that when she was suffering from serious health problems, the Ayushman card gave her a new life. <br />
