The Chhattisgarh High Court has rejected the bail petition of human rights activist, Dr. Binayak Sen and Mr. Piyush Guha. Both of them are now serving life sentence on charge of sedition. Both had filed bail applications before the Chhattisgarh High Court at Bilaspur challenging the Sessions Court verdict of 24th of December last year which had found them guilty of sedition. The High Court heard all sides in this case on three different dates ending on Wednesday. After that, the court had reserved their judgement in this case. The two-member Division Bench of the High Court today rejected the bail petition of both the convicted.
