These returning migrants have to be in quarantine for 14 days at the centres set up in Gram Panchayats of various districts. The Manpur Gram Panchayat of Patewa area of Mahasamund district in Chhattisgarh has come up with a unique initiative to keep the migrant workers engaged during quarantine period.<br />''<br />''After the workers expressed their willingness to do brick making, the sarpanch Brijen Heera Banjare provided them materials like clay and sand, necessary for brick making, in the primary school premises itself. Subsequently, these labourers made about 30 thousand bricks and have earned more than fifteen thousand rupees. These migrant workers utilized their quarantine period to earn money during the difficult time. </span><br />
