In Chhattisgarh, the State government has decided to provide an assistance of 2 crore rupees to the quake-victims in Sikkim. A decision to this effect was taken in the cabinet meeting last evening, chaired by the Chief Minister Dr. Raman Singh in capital Raipur. The cabinet meeting also expressed deep grief over the loss of life due to the Sunday's earth quake.
