<span style="color: #222222;">Chhattisgarh government has announced to provide COVID-19 vaccination free of cost to all above 18 years of age.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel said that the state government will bear the cost of vaccines to be administered to all above 18 years of age.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Meanwhile, various public sector undertakings and private institutions as well as social organizations are coming forward to help the state government in mobilizing the necessary resources for the treatment of corona infected patients.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">AIR correspondent reports, Bhilai Steel Plant, a unit of Steel Authority of India Limited, is playing a significant role in the supply of medical oxygen to Chhattisgarh.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">About 2500 metric tons of liquid medical oxygen has been supplied to the state so far by the plant.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel has also sanctioned one crore rupees for ensuring uninterrupted supply of medical oxygen required for the Covid patients.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">The amount would be used to purchase oxygen cylinders. Meanwhile, in view of the increasing cases of corona infection in Chhattisgarh, AIIMS Raipur has decided to provide training to the Medical Officer, Nursing Officer and Lab Technicians of the state.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">After the training, all these doctors and para medical staff will be able to serve in more efficient way in Covid hospitals of their respective districts.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">AIIMS Raipur had made a proposal in this regard in a virtual meeting held with the Union Health Minister Dr. Harshvardhan, on which the Union Minister has given his consent.</span><br />''  <br />
