In Chhattisgarh, the Cabinet sub-committee on internal security is meeting to discuss the latest strategy on the issue of the Collector's abduction by the Maoists. This Committee has been recently formed by the state government to look into all possible ways to secure the release of the abducted Sukma District Collector, Alex Paul Menon. Mr. Manish Kunjam, President of the All India Adivasi Mahasabha has been sent alongwith the required medicines for the ailing Mr. Menon.Meanwhile the Maoists have decided to free abducted Biju Janta Dal MLA, Jhina Hikaka tomorrow. According to Andhra Odisha Border Special Zonal Committee of CPI (Maoist), which had abducted the MLA, he will be released at Balipeta in Narayanpatna of Koraput district in the morning.
