<span style="color: #222222;">In Chhattisgarh, more than four lakh State Government employees went on indefinite strike from today. The employees are demanding Dearness Allowance(DA) at par with the Central Government employees and hike in House Rent Allowance. Over 80 employee associations under the banner of Chhattisgarh Employees – Officers Federation are participating in this strike.<br />''<br />''Judicial Employees' Association and revenue staff have also extended their support to the agitation. The functioning of about 52 State Government departments has been affected due to the strike. Meanwhile, the State Government has directed the District Collectors to continue with the work through alternate arrangements.</span><br />
