<span style="color: #222222;">Maoists attacked the convoy of Congress MLA Vikram Mandavi in Bijapur district of Chhattisgarh on Tuesday. According to the information received, Mr. Mandavi was returning to Bijapur after a Nukkad Sabha in Gangalur Haat market. Maoists opened fire on convoy near Padded village. No causality reported. All persons including MLA are reported to be safe. Inspector General of Police Bastar Range Sundarraj P. said that the police is probing the incident.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Earlier, a Maoist was killed in an exchange of fire between security forces and Maoists in Bijapur district today. Two other Maoists have been arrested from the spot.</span><br />
