Chhattisgarh is celebrating its foundation day today. On this occasion a 'Rajyotsav programme' was organized at the Chief Minister's official Residence. <br />''<br />''AIR Correspondent reports, at the Rajyotsav Programme organized on the occasion of Chhattisgarh foundation day, various schemes, including Swami Atmanand English Medium School Scheme aimed at providing education in the English language to students across the State was launched.<br />'' <br />''Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel also dedicated mobile hospital-cum-laboratories in 30 urban slum areas under the Chief Minister Urban Slum Health Scheme.<br />'' <br />''Besides, Rs 1500 crore was transferred into the bank accounts of farmers as the third installment of Kisaan Nyay Yojana.<br />'' <br />''During Rajyotsav, State level awards were also conferred to 30 individuals and three organisations for their outstanding contribution in their respective fields.<br />'' <br />''<span style="color: #222222;">This was the 21st foundation day of Chhattisgarh. The State came into existence on November 1, 2000 after being carved out of Madhya Pradesh.</span><br />
