The Speaker of the Chhattisgarh Assembly Mr. Dharamlal Kaushik has expressed the hope that the budget session of the state assembly beginning 17th of this month will run smoothly. Mr. Kaushik was replying to a question in a press conference in Raipur, if he would take steps to preempt any possible bid by the main Opposition Congress to stall the proceedings of the house as happened during the last session. It may be mentioned here that the entire 5 days’ long winter session of the Chhattisgarh assembly in December last year was stalled by the Opposition on various issues.
