In Chhattisgarh, the Chief Minister Dr. Raman Singh today inaugurated Bemetara district as the 22nd district of the state.Three other new districts namely Balod, Gariabandh and Mungeli have already been inaugurated during the last three days.Five of the remaining new districts, namely, Sukma, Balrampur, Balodabazar, Kondagaon and Surajpur will be officially inaugurated between the 16th and the 25th of this month.These nine new districts have already come into existence from the 1st of January this year, taking the total number of districts in the state to 27.
