The monsoon session of Chhattisgarh Assembly was adjourned sine die last evening. This brief session had begun on the 29th of last month. During the session the House passed a number of important bills which include the Chhattisgarh Auxiliary Armed Police Force bill and the Lok Seba Gurantee bill. While the former seeks to absorb around 5 thousand Special Police Officers engaged in anti-naxal operations in the state the latter would deal with providing assured and time bound service by government department to the common man.
