On the first day of the monsoon session, the Chhattisgarh assembly on Monday witnessed uproarious scenes over issues relating to the farmers of the state. The main opposition Congress demanded to discuss the issue of shortage and black marketing of fertilizers in the state through an adjournment motion, which was declined by the speaker.Following this, the opposition members walked to the well of the house amidst sloganeering and were suspended suo motto for the rest of the day. Subsequently the speaker adjourned the house till tomorrow. The brief monsoon session of the state assembly will continue upto the 10th of the next month.
