In yet another naxal attack in Chhattisgarh, two jawans were killed and four others injured in Kanker district this afternoon. The deceased include one head constable and a constable of the Border Security Force. According to the police sources, naxalites opened fire at a road opening party near Sulangi village under the Koilibeda police station area of the Kanker district killing two BSF jawans on the spot. Two of jawans injured are said to be in a serious condition. One naxalite has also been killed in the shoot out. The injured jawans have since been admitted to the local hospital. AIR correspondent reports, the naxalites also removed the fish-plates of the railway track between Kirandool and Bacheli in the Dantewada district today affecting rail traffic. The ultras also laid trees across roads in the district to disrupt traffic. Security arrangements across the Bastar division of the state have been tightened.
