Standing in knee-deep water at different ghats of rivers, ponds and water reservoirs devotees paid oblations to the setting sun this evening. A large number of devotees have offered special puja to Sun God at various sun temples including Deo in Aurangabad, Bargao in Nalanda and Ular Sun temple in Paliganj to observe the festival.  All roads led to ghats have been nicely decorated. <br />''<br />''The state government has made arrangements in various jails of the state for those inmates who are performing Chhath puja. Bihar government has made elaborate arrangements to avert untoward incidents. NDRF teams have been deployed at main ghats.
