In Bihar, star campaigners of different political parties including RJD chief Lalu Prasad Yadav, Senior JD ( U) leader Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and LJP President Ram Vilash Paswan have suspended their poll campaign for at least three days in view of Chhath festival. 26 constituencies of the state will go to poll for the 6th and the last phase of assembly elections will be held on 20th of this month. Electioneering has come to a standstill for today, tomorrow and Saturday. However, the BJP will continue its campaigning during the Chhath festival. AIR Patna correspondent reports that most of the candidates have also kept their campaign in abeyance as the Chhaath puja is considered the most pious and important festival in Bihar.
