Chhagan Bhujbal to be Dy CM of Maharashtra

The Nationalist Congress Party, NCP has named Mr Chhagan Bhujbal as Deputy Chief Minister of Maharashtra. An announcement to this effect was made by Union Minister Praful Patel in Mumbai on Monday. <br/> <br/>With this announcement, the focus has now shifted to the division of portfolios between the Congress and the NCP. With 82 MLAs, Congress is now in a dictating position within the alliance and the party is expected to demand key ministries held by NCP in the last term. <br/> <br/>AIR correspondent reports that top Congress and NCP leaders are expected to meet in New Delhi on Tuesday for talks on portfolio allocation.<br/>
