In Chhattisgarh, a police jawan of the district force was killed last night in a Maoist attack at village Keshkaal in Kondagaon district of tribal Bastar region. Two jawans were also seriously injured.

Maoists unleashed the attack on a police patrolling party in Raipur-Jagdalpur National Highway number-30. The injured jawans have been shifted to the state capital for treatment.
