Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Raman Singh today said that the hostage crisis in the state will soon come to an end with the release of abducted Sukma Collector Alex Paul Menon. He told reporters both the sides had agreed on certain points during the talks and a final decision will be taken by the Cabinet sub committee.

The Chief Minister said that the Government mediators Nirmala Buch and S K Mishra briefed the sub-committee of Chhattisgarh cabinet about the talks. AIR correpondent reports that the fourth round of talks was held after the mediators briefed the cabinet sub committee set up to deal with the issue. Presently the fifthe round of talks is in progress. The collector was said to be in a good health.
