Chetak Helicopter crashes injuring two pilots

In Karnataka, two pilots were injured when the Chetak Helicopter belonging to Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) crashed during training maneuvers in Bangaluru this morning. According to police sources, the incident occurred near Rotary Wing Training Academy of the HAL near the old airport. The mishap occurred when the Helicopter reportedly lost thrust due to technical fault and fell on the ground from a height of about ten feet. HAL officials said that the Pilots sustained minor injuries and were admitted to the Command hospital.
