Chess Olympiad: Indian men beat Holland; women defeat Peru

The Indian men have come back into the reckoning for a medal in the 43rd Chess Olympiad at Batumi in Georgia, after defeating Holland team 3-1.

The women team beating Peru 3-1 to keep their hopes alive for a top-five finish.

The Indian think-tank finally rested Viswanathan Anand, probably saving him for the final contest today as they might still have a chance to hit at the medal depending upon how other results shape up.

The Indian men have 15 points while women team 14 points.
