World Champion Viswanathan Anand has suffered a shocking loss at the hands of Norwegian Magnus Carlsen in the ninth and penultimate round of fifth Final Chess Masters tournament. It was the first defeat for Anand after having drawn the first eight games in the competition which is being held at Bilbao, Spain.
