Defending Champion Vishwanathan Anand will play the 12th and the final game of the World Chess Championship against Boris Gelfand of Israel at Moscow on Monday. This last game is crucial for the Indian ace as the 11th game held on Saturday also ended in a draw with the scores tied 5.5-5.5. If the deadlock persist in the 12th game as well, the players will have to play tie-break games of shorter duration to determine the winner. The 24-move draw in the penultimate game under the normal time control gives Anand a slight edge as he plays with white in the last game. The challenger and the champion have shared just one victory each in 11 games while the remaining nine games have ended in draws.
