Chennai Test: Aus 380 all out, India 182 for 3

India were 182 for 3 at close in their first innings against Australia on the second day of the first cricket test in Chennai today. Sachin Tendulkar batting on 71, made Chepauk his run paradise again rescuing India. His unbroken partnership for the fourth wicket with Virat Kohli batting on 50 helped India to put up a good score. The hosts lost the wickets of Murli Vijay, Virendra Sehwag and CA Pujara.Earlier, Australia were all out for 380 in their first innings. Skipper Michael Clarke made 130 and Moises Henriques scored 68 runs for Australia. R Ashwin took 7 while Ravindra Jadeja claimed 2 wickets. The visitors resumed their first innings play with an overnight score of 316 for 7.
