The Chennai Open,Indian pair of Rohan Bopanna and Jeevan Nedunchezhiyan captured men's doubles title defeating India's Divij Sharan and Purav Raja 6-3, 6-4.Bopanna and Jeeven won the first set 6-3. After a good start Raja-Sharan fought back to make it 3-3, but Bopanna and Jeevan regained control and crossed the first hurdle easily. Raja-Sharan fought back in the second set but failed in turning games in their favour. This was for the first time, an ATP 250 event witnessed two Indian teams contesting a final and also one of them winning at the SDAT stadium since Leander Paes and Mahesh Bhupathi triumphed in 2011. Sharan and Raja played their third ATP event final as a team, while for Bopanna and Jeevan together, it was only for the second time
