Slovenian qualifier Aljaz Bedene meets Swiss world number four Stanislas Wawrinka in the title clash of the Chennai Open Tennis today. Continuing his giant-killing spree, Bedene knocked out third seed and world number 15 Roberto Bautista Agut. 25-year-old Bedene, ranked as low as 156, shocked his Spaniard opponent 3-6, 6-3, 7-6 in a marathon and intense semifinal that lasted two hours and 42 minutes yesterday. It will be Beden's first ever appearance in an ATP Tour singles final and the Slovenian has also become the first qualifier in the 20-year history of Chennai Open to reach the summit clash. He now meets Swiss world number four Wawrinka, who got the better of fourth seed David Goffin 7-5, 6-3 in the other semifinal. In the Doubles final, Leander Paes and Raven Clasen will meet Yen Sun Lu and Jonathan Murray in Chennai today. In the semi-finals played lastnight in Chennai, Yen Sun Lu and Jonathan Murray beat Purav Raja and Adil Shamshudin. In the other semifinal on Friday, Leander Paes and Raven Clasen entered into the doubles finals by defeating Pablo Careno Busta and G Garcia Lopez.
