In Chattisgarh, the private bus operators are on strike today. The strike call was given following differences between the bus owners and the government over the new rule on the running of the buses.The government has made a rule that the distance to be covered by the buses will be determined by their running condition and seating capacities. This was not acceptable to the bus operators.
