Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel has written a letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, requesting the repeal of the Citizenship Amendment Act 2019 -CAA. <br />''<br />''The Chief Minister has stated in the letter that this Act appears to be discriminatory towards illegal immigrants. He also said the Act has no provision for people of neighboring countries such as Sri Lanka, Myanmar, Nepal, and Bhutan living in India. He said that several demonstrations have been staged in Chhattisgarh in protest of this Act.<br />
