In Libya, a ship chartered by the International Organisation for Migration has left the besieged city of Misrata after heavy shelling by forces loyal to Col. Gaddafi. Libyan rebels said that at least five people were killed. The vessel was expected to evacuate 1000 migrant workers and wounded Libyans. It however left 200 people behind due to the attack. The ship waited offshore for several days because of the fighting. The International Criminal Court says it intends to indict three Libyan officials for crimes against humanity within the next few weeks. The UN Security Council was informed that investigations have revealed evidence of systematic shooting at peaceful protesters.
