In Canada, at least 12 people were killed and three others injured when a chartered plane crashed into a large hill while approaching the runway of a remote Arctic hamlet. The Air flight went down in Resolute Bay of Nunavut late yesterday night. Officials were able to locate two black boxes from the widespread crash site. Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper has expressed grief over the accident.
