BSP chief Mayawati today said the charges of alleged wrongdoings by Minister of State for Home Kiren Rijiju in a power project in Arunachal Pradesh should be investigated. She told reporters outside Parliament that the matter is serious and the Minister should explain his position. She said there should be an action against the Minister if found guilty.<br/><br/>Replying to a media query on reports of a possible alliance between the Samajwadi party and the Congress, Ms Mayawati said, when SP is claiming development and better law and order situation in Uttar Pradesh, why it needs an alliance with the Congress party. She alleged that the Samajwadi party has failed on all fronts that is why it is now looking for alliance.
