Anti-Terrorism Squad of Maharashtra Police has filed a supplementary chargesheet against the LeT operative and 26/11 Mumbai attack handler Sayed Zabiuddin Ansari, alias Abu Jundal, in the 2006 Aurangabad Arms haul case.
An ATS official said, the ATS has filed a 3,650-page chargesheet against Jundal, and named him as key accused.
He said, on May 8, 2006, Maharashtra ATS team had chased a Tata Sumo and an Indica car on Chandwad-Manmad highway near Aurangabad and arrested three terror suspects.
The team seized 30 kgs. of RDX, 10 AK-47 rifles and 3,200 live cartridges from them. The official said, the car was allegedly driven by Jundal who managed to give police a slip.
