In Karnataka, State BJP leader Dharmendra Pradhan has ruled out leadership change in the state. Speaking to the media persons in Bangalore today, he said B.S. Yeddyurappa will continue as Chief Minister of Karnataka for his full term. He said all party MLAs have expressed their support for Yeddyurappa’s leadership. The Chief Minister, who was touring Kodagu district today, has also said that Party High Command has not issued any directive for change of leadership in Karnataka. The State Party President K S Eeshwarappa has also said that there is no proposal to change the Chief Minister in the State. Speaking to media persons in Hubli today, he admitted that some MLAs have expressed dissatisfaction over slow pace of development in their constituencies.Meanwhile, the Opposition Congress today staged a dharna in Bangalore demanding immediate resignation by Chief Minister Yeddyurappa against whom a local court has ordered a probe into allegations of corruption. Addressing the gathering, the state congress President G Parameshwara said Yeddyurappa should have quit soon after his involvement in land scams surfaced.The court had directed Lokayuta Police to file its report by 4th of May.
