Congress leader Oommen Chandy will be sworn-in as Chief Minister of Kerala on Wednesday. He was unanimously elected leader of Congress Legislature Party at Thiruvananthapuram on Sunday. Congress high command and other parties of United Democratic Front, UDF have approved the decision. After a UDF meeting, Mr Chandy met Governor R S Gavai and staked claim to form a new government in the state. Mr Chandy told media persons that thin majority makes the government all the more alert and responsible.
