Chandrayan-1 finds evidence of water on moon

India's maiden mission to moon, Chandrayaan-I has found evidence to confirm the presence of water on its surface. The Times newspaper reported today that the data from the spacecraft also suggests water is still being formed on the moon. <br/>According to newspaper report, Chandrayaan mission Director Mr. Mylswamy Annadurai termed the discovery as satisfying but did not give much details. The data was reportedly collected with the help of NASA's Moon mineralogy mapper. <br/>The American space agency scientists are scheduled to hold a press conference later in the day during which they are expected to divulge more details of the discovery. <br/>
