Cabinet Secretary K M Chandrasekhar today submitted his report to Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh on Shunglu committee's findings on the Commonwealth Games broadcast deal.The panel had indicted suspended Prasar Bharati CEO B S Lalli and Doordarshan Director General Aruna Sharma in the case. Highly placed sources said that action on the report is expected soon.Taking a serious view of Shunglu panel's findings on alleged irregularities in awarding broadcast rights, the Prime Minister has warned of stern action against the guilty. The Cabinet Secretary who was given the panel's report was asked to submit his report within a week with his recommendation on the follow-up steps.
