In Union Territory of Chandigarh, COVID-19 cases are on surge. Today, 81 persons including a one-year male tested positive for COVID-19. Our correspondent reports, out of new positive cases 29 cases found positive in Rapid Antigen Test and 27 COVID patients discharged after recovery.<br />'' <br />'' With this, the total number of persons found positive so far in Chandigarh has risen to 2,009. Out of which, 1,118 have cured and 861 are under treatment. In UT, 30 COVID-19 patients have died so far.  As per Health Department, the two COVID patients died due to other ailments.<br />''
