The martyr Corporal JP Singh, a Garud Commando was paid floral tributes by the senior Air Force Officers and others at old airfield in Chandigarh today. His mortal remains are being taken to his native village in Bihar where his last rites will be performed.<br/><br/>His mortal remains were flown to Chandigarh in a helicopter in the afternoon. He died during an encounter between security forces and Pakistani ultras in Bandipura district of Kashmir. In the encounter six terrorists were also killed.
