Chanambam Thambou Higher Secondary School, Manipur, has entered the junior girls (Under-17) semifinals of the 56th Subroto Cup Football Tournament. In the first quarterfinal in New Delhi Friday, the Manipur School handed a 10-0 hammering to Telangana Sports School, Secunderabad. In the second quarterfinal, Sports School, Nagaland, posted a facile 1-0 win over Tripura's Sports School. The sub-junior girls' semifinal battles in the tournament will resume tomorrow after a day's rest today.
