In the Champions Trophy hockey tournament in Bhubaneswar, India lost their opening Pool 'B' match against Germany by a solitary goal. The all-important goal for Germany, came in the final moments of the match.Earlier, in the first encounter of the eight-nation tournament on the opening day on Saturday at the Kalinga Stadium, England stunned five-time reigning champions Australia 3-1 in Pool A. In another Pool 'A" game in the same pool, Belgium defeated Pakistan 2-1. In the third match of the day, the Netherlands outplayed Argentina 3-Nil in Pool 'B'.
