Champions League T20 tournament starts in South Africa

The Champions League Twenty20 cricket tournament, now under way in South Africa, will enter its main stage tomorrow. There are four Indian Premier League teams in the fray inthe cash-rich tournament. They include defending champions Mumbai Indians (MI) and this season's IPL winners Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR). The other two IPL sides are Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and Delhi Daredvils (DD). The Indian teams will be up against some of the best T20 outfits of the world. The Ten teams in the fray have been divided into two Groups. Group 'A' includes Auckland Aces, Delhi Daredevils, Kolkata Knight Riders, Perth Scorchers and Titans. The five teams from Group 'B' are: Chennai Super Kings, Highveld Lions, Mumbai Indians, Sydney Sixers and Yorkshire. Tomorrow, Titans meet Perth Scorchers at 5 P.M. (IST), and Kolkata Knight Riders take on Delhi Daredevils at 9 P.M. (IST). Auckland Aces and Yorkshire made it to the main draw after topping their respective pools in the just concluded qualifiers.
