In UP, the festival of Chaiti Chand and birthday celebration of Lord Jhuley Lal is being observed with full religious fervour by Sindhi community on Tuesday. The Jhuley Lal temples across the state have been colorfully decorated and religious processions were taken out. AIR Gorakhpur correspondent reports that the people from various walks of life participated in the procession and exchanged greetings. A large procession was taken out from Jhuley Lal temple in Gorakhnath area. The tableaux in the procession contained prevailing issue of the society including corruption and price rise. The men, women and children from Sindhi Samaj distributed sweetmeats and drinks to all sections of the society and shared their happiness. Today is the second day of Chaitra Navaratri and people thronged to Devi temples to pray Brahmacharini Devi.
