In Uttar Pradesh, the Director of Secondary Education and Chairman of Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Siksha Board, Sanjay Mohan has been arrested.Quoting official sources, AIR Lucknow Correspondent reports that, he has been arrested for his alleged involvement in irregularities in the online examination of Teachers Eligibility Test in the state. The director was arrested from his Nishatganj residence in Lucknow last night.His name came up after five youths were arrested by the police on December 31st last year and 12 crore rupees were seized from them. The youths had disclosed that the money was being taken to Lucknow to be given to the director. The Allahabad High Court has already stayed the TET examinations of around 78,000 students in the state after the exposure of the racket.
