CGHS beneficiaries to get cashless treatment facilities at three medical institutes

<span style="color: black;">The government has said that the cashless treatment facilities are now available to beneficiaries of Central Government Health Scheme, CGHS at AIIMS New Delhi, PGIMER Chandigarh, and JIPMER Puducherry.<br />'' <br />''Union Health Ministry today signed a Memorandum of Agreement with three medical institutes in this regard to provide cashless treatment facilities to the beneficiaries. With this, both serving and pensioners beneficiaries of CGHS will have direct access to advanced treatment facilities without the hassle of making upfront payments and seeking reimbursements from CGHS.<br />'' <br />''Speaking at the event, Union Health Secretary Rajesh Bhushan said that this streamlined process will save time, reduce paperwork, and expedite the settlement of individual claims. He further emphasized that this agreement will benefit a large segment of the population by simplifying lengthy formalities and expediting access to medical care. He added that the government aims to expand the number of hospitals impanelled under CGHS to provide excellent tertiary care facilities aligned with the rising requirements of the patients. </span><br />
