CET to be held from 15th Sept to 10th Oct: Maharashtra Govt

<span style="color: #222222;">Ending speculation around the Common Entrance Test – CET, Maharashtra Government today announced that the tests would be held from 15th September to 10th October.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Addressing a press conference in Mumbai, Minister of Higher Education And Technical Education Mr. Uday Samant said close to nine lakh students have registered their names for enrolment into various graduate and post-graduate courses.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">He said that the tests would be conducted at 226 centres and in complete compliance to COVID protocol.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Mr. Samant added that his department will request the state disaster management authority to allow students to travel in Mumbai's suburban trains on the day of their exam.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">In another announcement, Mr. Samant said the state government has decided to lower the annual income limit from 20 lakh to 8 lakh for students desiring scholarship to avail education in foreign universities.</span><br />
