<span style="color: #222222;">The Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) of Manipur Rajesh Agrawal instructed District Election Officers (DEOs) and Superintendents of Police (SPs) of the state to set everything ready on time for the upcoming General Elections to Manipur Legislative Assembly, 2022.<br />''The CEO took the Review Meeting on Election Preparedness today at his office located at Lamphelpat in Imphal with DEOs and SPs. He asked all the top officials to make a strict Election Management Plan in their respective districts for smooth conduct of the forthcoming election.<br />''<br />''Mr.Agrawal also informed that the Election Commission of India (ECI) team may visit the state at the beginning of next month. He further pointed out that with ninety days in hand to complete the whole process of Election by March 19, 2022, it is important that every DEO and SP put forth their doubts and issues regarding conduct of Election.<br />''Mr.L. Kailun, State Additional DGP who is Nodal Officer for Law and Order expressed concern on the porous state and international borders and rise of unwanted activities in the state and advised the concerned officials to stay alert, cooperate and tie up with the central forces to check illegal movements. He also asked the officials to keep a tab on the rising trends of political clashes in the state. </span><br />
