The Car rally was organised by All Kargil Tours and Travel Association, Tourism department Kargil, as a part of 'Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav' and 'Har Ghar Tiranga' campaign.<br />''<br />''The Rally started from Highland Hotel Baroo Chok with the loud chants of "Jai Hind,''  "Bharat Mata Ki Jai'' and Tricolor flying high. After passing through Main Bazar Kargil, the rally reached Linkipal Slopes and passed through LAHDC Secretariat and other offbeat destinations concluded at Chutuk Pastures.<br />''<br />''The motive behind organising this event is to imbibe the spirit of nationalism among the youth and also to promote adventure tourism in the offbeat tourist destinations in and around Kargil Town.<br />''<br />''Addressing the media, the CEO KDA, said, the motive of organizing these events is to promote Tourism in Kargil.
